100 Days of Tiny Art

Purpose: I was hit with a bit of “fomo” and jumped in on participating in another round of The 100 Day Project, which I love and have completed a few times already!

I’ve always loved working at a small scale but now that I’m sharing an apartment and have a smaller studio space here in Boston, it feels even more natural to work small and theme the entire project around it. Plus, tiny things are cute and a good way to experiment and play more which is part of my purpose in tackling another round of The 100 Day Project this year.

Rules: 5x5” or smaller art in whatever medium and on whatever canvas I want. Updates will be posted to my Instagram throughout 2023.

At this point in the project I’ve found myself gravitating toward mini collage that feature found papers alongside my own handmade gelli-printed papers. And I’m loving the dimension and texture that embroidering the paper is adding on some of them.
